{"id":1212,"date":"2019-05-13T10:33:32","date_gmt":"2019-05-13T09:33:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pxlmusic.be\/en\/?p=1212"},"modified":"2019-05-13T14:31:41","modified_gmt":"2019-05-13T13:31:41","slug":"dreun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pxlmusic.be\/en\/dreun\/","title":{"rendered":"DREUN"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In the frame of the course Interdisciplinary Projects, the second grade students Music, Music Management and Music Technics were assigned to develop a mobile music performance for the <strong>O-Parade<\/strong>, the annual climax of the May celebrations in the city of Genk. The parade consists of a mix of international street theatre acts and folk societies from Genk and draws an audience of over 100.000 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the course they developed <strong>DREUN<\/strong>, a fanfare with instruments made from recycled materials. The students wrote a composition, designed costumes, flags, instruments and a procession piece.
